Nonprofit disability service provider adds 75 participants from CCP

By Opportunity Partners

In spring 2020, Twin Cities nonprofit Opportunity Partners (OP), assumed operations of Community Connections Partnership (CCP), a day and employment services organization also in the metro area.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic slowed and complicated the process, OP is currently providing community employment, enrichment, and virtual services to approximately 75 people formerly served by CCP – and about 50 more intend to return for services when the COVID-19 risk diminishes and it is safe to do so.

Nineteen former CCP staff joined OP to ensure a smooth transition and continue community-based services without interruption.
